Dynamic/Kinetic

Many sites have kinetic content (contain movement). Corporate sites have a low number of moving images (portraying a "stable" look) whereas music oriented sites may be almost entirely kinetic.

The first, farmclub.com, has an animated advertisement at (1), a ‘video’ at (2) and a news ticker at (3).

The second example, launch.com has an animated notice at (1) and a video at (2).

Figure 2: Click to enlargeOn the other hand, the category in which farmclub.com resides (News and Media > Television > Shows > Music) includes "Dick Clark’s American Bandstand" (Figure 2) a member of a quite different genre, and a quite different visual aspect. The category doesn't seem to engender similar Dynamic or Kinetic content.
