Mon 24th July
Day 686
1Y 10M 17D |
Mum and Nathan went to London to see Nanna. The lad ate like
a small horse. This could be the way things will be from now
on?
Nathan also said another two word sentence. This time without
prompting. When returning a car to mum he said "Car back".
It's no surprise that all his progress is car related these
days. Nathan's still as car crazy as ever.
Among other things, Nathan impressed with his rendition of
"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". He can continue the
next couple of words whenever we trail off.

Sun 23rd July
Day 685
1Y 10M 16D |
Mum Dad and Nathan went to The Thatchers, a pub about a mile
away, with children's facilities including a ball room and slides.
The lad loved watching the other children, and we had a nice
relaxed meal together.
On the subject of food, Nathan is still eating (relatively)
well. Today he had some pear, biscuits and a lot of crisps,
not to mention the milk. The fact is that Nathan has beaten
any ideas we might have had about good diet by going on hunger
strike for two months. We're still glad just to see him eat
anything at all.

Sat 22nd July
Day 684
1Y 10M 15D |
Today we went to feed the ducks, then onto the Earley Fayre,
then on to the bowls open day, organised by Mum. Quite a day,
and the lad enjoyed pretty much every minute of it.
Nathan appears to have eaten fairly well (more than the equivalent
of three biscuits worth) for four days in a row. We could be
onto something here. He's even asking for food by name (Yoghurt,
Apple, Pear, Crisps & Cracker).

Fri 21st July
Day 683
1Y 10M 14D |
Granny came today. Before she arrived we went to
Woodley town centre and played on the toys there. In moving Nathan
from one installation to another, dad "walked" the lad
there. He didn't like it very much, but he did it all the same. |
Thu 20th July
Day 682
1Y 10M 13D |
We went to Cintra Park toddler group today, as it was such
a lovely day, we spent the afternoon outside.
Nathan ate quite a lot today, including bread, ice-cream, apple,
pear and crisps.
The lad could be learning to blow his nose. Dad asked him for
a demonstration, and the lad leaned forward until faces touched,
and blew.

Wed 19th July
Day 681
1Y 10M 12D |
We went to music today, and Nathan almost got himself
an instrument at the end.
Then onto a pub with a toddler's play area (The Thatchers)
for lunch.
Lastly, onto the physiotherapist (with a sleep in-between).
Nathan didn't want to play, but the physiotherapist seemed pleased
with the lad's progress anyway. She thinks that it's not unreasonable
to expect Nathan to be walking by the time he's two. We've been
given some insoles for Nathan's shoes to help support his arches,
which should help.

Tue 18th July
Day 680
1Y 10M 11D |
We went to toddler group today. Nathan didn't crawl
around on his own as much as ususal, but he did get a go in one
of the "Flintstone"
cars while no one else was looking. |
