Mon 28th August
Day 721
1Y 11M 21D |
Nathan went to visit Nanna. He had a lovely time
and came back with his uncle Rob's old matchbox car collection.
The cars have been well used and loved, and the lad will certainly
continue in that tradition. |
Sun 27th August
Day 720
1Y 11M 20D |
Last day at the Festival, and we're all affected
by the rain, the lad and his mum got caught on the way back from
feeding the ducks. |
Sat 26th August
Day 719
1Y 11M 19D |
Dad's second day at the Festival, and as a prelude
we all went to an Indian restaurant. Nathan realy enjoyed the
spicy popadoms, and the view afforded him of all the traffic going
past. |
Fri 25th August
Day 718
1Y 11M 18D |
Granny came today. Since the lad spent three days with granny
and grandpa, he hasn't stopped mentioning their names. Nathan
had a good day. Plenty of laughing and lummoxing.
Dad's going to the Reading Festival for the next three days,
so mum's in charge.

Thu 24th August
Day 717
1Y 11M 17D |
Today we went to Odds Farm
Park with some of the Thursday group, and then on to a long-lost
little friend of Nathan. The lad enjoyed both trips.
Nathan's starting to ask to be walked, although he's not going
very far at the moment it's a step in the right direction.
On the drive home the lad was obviously very tired but didn't
go to sleep, which was handy, as it would then have been very
difficult to get him to sleep at the proper time. He just sat
there watching the scenery go by through the side window of
the car, looking very grown up.

Wed 23rd August
Day 716
1Y 11M 16D |
One of Nathan's little buddies came to visit today.
They had a great time. It's interesting to note how comparatively
advanced Nathan's language skills are to his contemporaries. |
Tue 22nd August
Day 715
1Y 11M 15D |
We went to see Nanna today. Nathan had a sleep on the way there,
which was just fine. He's still eating and drinking well, an
average of a packet of crisps a day in fact.
We've got some old ping pong balls and Nathan loves to throw
them and chase after them, or play catch with mum and dad. He's
still not quite sure that it's fun to fetch them after throwing
them out of the door though.
