Mon 13th November
Day 798
2Y 1M 6D |
Nanna and Grandpa came to visit today. Nathan was fairly
manic all this time, busy showing off, especially his prowess at "golf",
a game where we bash a ping pong ball to each other along the ground
by means of a small spade or toilet roll holder. The lad's starting
to get the hang of it. He certainly enjoys it. |
Sun 12th November
Day 797
2Y 1M 5D |
We went to see uncle Adrian at his new house along with
Granny and Grandpa, then onto a Thai restaurant. Nathan came dangerously
close to eating some Thai chilli, but was saved by Granny. |
Sat 11th November
Day 796
2Y 1M 4D |
We went to Deep Sea Den with a little friend. It was really busy
today. Perhaps the wet weather drove everyone to indoor amusements.
Nathan took forty five minutes to warm up to it, then of course
we had to go just as soon as he started enjoying it.

Fri 10th November
Day 795
2Y 1M 3D |
Granny came to visit and Nathan had a lovely time.
He's not eaten as much in the last two days as he had in the two
days previous to that, but it's still better than a month ago.
Nathan loves his teddy bear Leo so much. This evening at the kitchen
table, he was a bit grumpy. Then we heard the lad whisper "big
hug" at Leo. Leo "came across" the table, sat on
Nathan's lap, and everything was alright again.

Thu 9th November
Day 794
2Y 1M 2D |
We had another cheerful day. Dad constructed a circular Lego monstrosity
and Nathan called it a Mulberry bush (round). We also had a nice
time at Thursday playgroup.
On a more serious side, we've received the letter telling us the
date of Nathan's operation. It's the 27th November.

Wed 8th November
Day 793
2Y 1M 1D |
We had a lovely day: Nathan was cheerful and fun to be with. He
also ate loads. Perhaps the two are connected?
We went to music group where the lad was happy to take part in
all the activities, then we went into town with a friend and Nathan
clowned around and made her laugh.

Tue 7th November
Day 792
2Y 1M 31D |
Nathan took some steps today! only two or three, and only twice
but nevertheless...
We had a great time at playgroup, Nathan was really independent,
and enjoying himself. Then we went over to an old friend's house
where the deed was done.
