This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.

Mon 22nd January
Day 868
2Y 4M 15D

Nathan went with Nanna and dad to Whoosh! in Bracnell. He really enjoyed it (once again).

The lad's making another intellectual leap. He's able to sing several songs, even if he's a bit vague on the words, and his memory of places he's visited is just astonishing. See yesterday's for an example.

Sun 21st January
Day 867
2Y 4M 14D
We went to visit Granny and Grandpa today. They took us into London, and Nathan loved riding on a bus and on the underground. He even seemed to know that we had to get out at Finchley Road station. Unbelievable.
Sat 20th January
Day 866
2Y 4M 13D

A day of much eating (which is particularly good as we're keeping a food diary for Nathan's dietician this week) and larking around.

We took Nathan to a toy cupboard cleaning session at the Silverdale Road (Tuesday) toddler group. Nathan was the only child there, and we only took him because we knew he'd be good, and he was. Very. Much to the admiration of everyone.

Fri 19th January
Day 865
2Y 4M 12D
Granny came to visit today. The lad ate his first whole bag of crisps to celebrate.
Thu 18th January
Day 864
2Y 4M 11D
A bit of a fragile day today. Nathan's teething again, and it's only when we looked into his mouth that we realised just how many teeth he's got now... loads.
Wed 17th January
Day 863
2Y 4M 10D
Sentence of the day "Reesa mummy a called Lucy" explaining to us that Theresa is the name of Lucy's mummy. This was especially impressive as it was unprompted.
Tue 16th January
Day 862
2Y 4M 9D

We were playing the lad a cassette and it had come to the end. Nathan said "rewind".

Today we went to Silverdale Road toddler group where Nathan was quite clingy. Then we went to Whoosh! in the afternoon. Most of the lad's friends were there and he had an absolutely wonderful time. He went off to sleep without any trouble at all tonight.
