Nanna and Grandad came to visit today. The lad had a lot of fun. We also cut out moon and star shapes and stuck them on a cupboard on the kitchen. Nathan was really taken by them.

Nathan sings "The Grand Old Duke of York" to order now, with arm actions, and while marching.

We went to Granny and Grandpa's house today. Nathan did more climbing, and had his usual great time.

Into town to buy a cot bed for the lad. It's a little bigger than the cot, and can be converted into a bed by removing the sides.

In the afternoon we went to friends for a barbeque. We had a lovely time, and Nathan climbed to the top of their climbing frame all by himself.

Fri 29th June
Day 1025

Today we went back home, after having a final swim. It's been a most enjoyable holiday.
Thu 28th June
Day 1024

First thing in the morning, daddy went to a yoga session, then we spent time in the wooden play village.

The weather wasn't quite as good today, still bright, but overcast.

In the afternoon we went to the toy shop to get a correctly proportioned car for Nathan's transporter.

A short note about Nathan's constipation. It's still ever-present, but we don't think about it much. We're fairly sure that Nathan's holding it in, rathrthen it being physical and hope that if we can potty train the lad then he'll feel more in control about it all, and things will be easier.

Wed 27th June
Day 1023

Today's mission was to keep the lad awake all day. We'd booked a table for two and a babysitter, and the whole thing depended on Nathan falling asleep in good time. Thankfully it all worked to plan, and we had a lovely meal.
Tue 26th June
Day 1022
2Y 9M 18D
We climbed around a wooden play village today, We also found Tweenies books in the newsagent, and had another barbeque in the woods behind the house. We were joined by the girls from the villa next door and after some playing around, building bridges and roads out of fallen wood, Nathan was presented with love letters from both girls.
