This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.
Mon 6th August
Day 1062

Nanna came to visit with grandad. Nathan had his usual brilliant time, and grandad taught the lad to "high five".

Day 1061

We went to granny and grandpa's house today. Nathan loved being there so much that he didn't want to leave.

Adrian was there as well. They all commented on how much better the lad's vocabulary was, after not seeing him for a while.

Day 1060

Nathan woke us up at 6:00am, so we decided to make the most of the early start. We left the caravan site at 7:30 and made the 243 miles back home in 242 minutes, and, although we had a great time, it's very nice to be back in a large, warm, quiet house.

Fri 3rd August
Day 1059
2Y 10M 25D
The last day of our holiday, we went to the soft play area at Haven, and spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach.
Thu 2nd August
Day 1058
2Y 10M 24D
Today we went back to Dairyland farm world. It's a brilliant day out, and well worth visiting twice.
Wed 1st August
Day 1057

We popped into Perranporth to get a repeat prescription for Nathan's pediasure plus. The lad just isn't eating as much as at home and subsequently we're giving him more pediasure. He seems to be only eating crisps and chocolate, so we're going to have to do some hard work when we return.

In the afternoon we went to Lappa Valley once again. It's small but perfectly formed, and Nathan enjoyed his (almost) countless rides on trains.

After struggling and squealing to climb up into his car sat, the lad paused for a moment and said "see?", as if we doubted his ability to do it.

Dad asked the lad if he could have one his crisps. Nathan said "Of course you can".

A slightly less pleasant sophistication of the lad's is his tendency to shout "stop talking" or "stop stop stop" when mum and dad are having a conversation.
