This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.
Mon 3rd September
Day 1090
2Y 11M 26D

We went to the dentist for a checkup first thing. Nathan has all twenty of his milk teeth, and they're in perfect condition.

Then Nanna came, and Nathan had his usual great time. He's much better at controlling his bike now, he can turn corners at will.

After Nanna left mum took the lad to see all her friends at work. Nathan was his usual charming self.

Sun 2nd September
Day 1089
2Y 11M 25D
We went to see Granny and Grandpa (and uncle Adrian was there as well). Nathan boosed everyone around, and ate lots as well. It wasn't a suprise when he fell asleep on the way home.
Sat 1st September
Day 1088
2Y 11M 24D
We went to see Adrian's place of work in the morning, it's over at a new office development on the outskirts of Reading. Nathan enjoyed watching all the diggers, cranes and a busy bulldozer.
Fri 31st August
Day 1087
2Y 11M 23D

The lad's ankle is mostly beter today.

Granny came and she and Nathan had lots of fun.

Nathan recounted this morning how we had paid a visit to a friend who was not there. This minor incident took place at least six months ago.

Thu 30th August
Day 1086
2Y 11M 22D

Nathan had a little fall today. It was down a couple of steps on the stairs. He twisted his ankle (like before), but after six hours, and two doses of Calpol he was walking again, although not 100%.

We went to the hospital for a checkup and the lad weighs 10.4kg (22lb 14oz). The doctor says that he's in no danger of a gastrosomy as long as keeps in his weight percentile. He's also 88.7cm long.

Sometimes the lad does voices for mum or dad or perhaps for a Tweenie. He's started imitating the tomes of voice we use as well, high or low-pitched.

Wed 29th August
Day 1085
2Y 11M 21D

We spent the day with friends at their house. Nathan had a great time.

We're asking asking the lad "Why" when he asks us to do somethings. He now responds with "Cos ..."

Tue 28th August
Day 1084
2Y 11M 20D

We spent the morning at home and the afternoon in Woodley town centre.

Nathan's so well behaved that it's a pleasure to take hime anywhere.
