Nanna came today, back from her holiday in Australia.

Nathan had a great time, although he was a little tired following a restless night.

We're still trying to encourage the lad to use the potty or toilet. He'll happily sit on the potty or the toilet fully clothed for a few minutes now, but is unhappy to go any further.

Nathan loved the sleepover, but he also loved being back home. We played all afternoon, it was a lovely warm autumn day, so we had a chance to play outside as well.

Day 1130

Nathan woke up saying that he couldn't wait for tonight's sleepover with Granny and Grandpa. All morning long he couldn't wait.

Once in London the lad took a trip on the Underground to Regents Park. He really enjoyed it.

Mum and dad had a peaceful evening restaurant meal.

Fri 12th October
Day 1129

Granny came to visit and in the lad's own words "I had a great time".

Nathan's still eating well. We've noticed a little bit of chub under his chin and he seems to have bigger legs as well.

Thu 11th October
Day 1128

Another busy day. We went to Wickes to get a heated towel rail. Nathan said "DIY shop" as he got out of the car. How he worked it out is a mystery.

We've been there before, and the change in the lad is quite remarkable (well, he was crawling then).

Then onto Cintra toddler group, and then onto Whoosh activity play area. A nice active day by all.

Wed 10th October
Day 1127
3Y 1M 3D

A busy day today: first we made some cakes, then we went to Hickory Dickory Dock and gave them to the other children. Then we had lunch at Dinton Country Pastures, then on to see a friend for the early afternoon.

We spent the last few hours at home just messing about. Nathan decided that he was La la (from the Teletubbies) and that dad was La la's ball. Then Nathan was cat (from who knows where) and dad was dog. Nothing much happens when we act out these roles, except that we call each other cat and dog all the time. Nathan enjoys acting them out though.

Tue 9th October
Day 1126
3Y 1M 2D

We went to toddler group and then to swimming. Nathan enjoyed both, but didn't get on too well with his new water wings. The truth isthat the lad doesn't really want to swim, although he enjoys being around the pool.

Sometimes dad and the lad play word repeating games, silly little things like
"Look there"
"Where?"
"Look there"
"Where?"
"Look there"
"Where?". Nathan finishes up by saying
"We're playing games, aren't we daddy", and Daddy says
"Yes".
