We made cakes first thing, then Nanna came and Nathan had loads of fun.

Later we went out and washed the car, well Nathan washed the car, the plants, the garden fence and the house. When asked "Do you like doing this?" Nathan said "Yes, it's very exciting".

Day 1138

Alert - Do not read if sqeamish: Nathan was a bit upset to discover that his poo had been flushed down the toilet. We promised that he can help the next time it happens, and it did: a small poo in the afternoon and a wee in the evening.
Sat 20th October
Day 1137

We went to a park with another little friend today. Nathan climbed and ran all over the place.

Alert - Do not read if sqeamish: While in the bath Nathan wanted to do a poo. Mum whipped him out and put him on the potty and hey presto, he did his second ever poo in a potty, and was much happier about it than the first time. We immediately gave the lad loads of praise and a little toy car, held in reserve for just such an occasion.

Fri 19th October

Granny came today and the lad had a wonderful time, including doing some finger painting.
Thu 18th October
Day 1135

We had alazy morning followed by an afternoon at Whoosh, and that's about it.
Wed 17th October
Day 1134

We went to the dietician today. Nathan weighed in at 10.3kg (22lb 11oz), a slight drop over three months. This was a real shock, as the lad seems to have been eating so well recently, and he seems chubbier to us.

The dietician explained that Nathan still needed to catch up. He apparently needs to eat quite a lot, as a child of low weight, to gain weight.

We made another appointment for three months hence, to see if there has been any improvement. The three months is an indication that she's not all that worried. Still, she mentioned the G-tube, this time in a more positive light: that it may be a way of taking the pressure off Nathan to eat his way big. Time wil tell.

Tue 16th October
Day 1133
3Y 1M 9D

Toddler group and swimming today.

Nathan wanted an extra drink of milk at bedtime, so he sang "Milktime" to the tune of "Summertime"!
