This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.
Mon 29th October
Day 1146
3Y 1M 22D

Nanna came to visit.

Before that we'd been splashing in the puddles outside. One of them's a bit too deep and rutted and the lad's fallen foul to it once already (the water went over the top of his boot). This time he fell over into the mud. Good job it's only a few yards from the house.

Sun 28th October
Day 1145

We went to see Granny and Grandpa, and we went to Aldenham Country Park. We fed the ducks and played on the swings and slides. It was brilliant.
Sat 27th October
Day 1144
3Y 1M 20D
We went to Odds Park Farm today. The foot and mouth restrictions have mostly been lifted, so it's "Rabbit World" no longer. Great.
Fri 26th October
Day 1143

Granny came to visit today. Nathan had a great day. Lots of fun, lots of easting and another successful poo on the potty.
Thu 25th October
Day 1142
3Y 1M 18D

Cintra park's Halloween party today, then on for a swim.

We impulse bought a flotation jacket (Polyotter bobin) for the lad. It was partially successful. The lad enjoyed floating about for a bit, but it's a bit tight (intentionally) and the lad tired of it. Still, it's less intrusive than arm bands.

Wed 24th October
Day 1141
3Y 1M 17D

We went to Hickory Dickory Dock in the morning, bringing more cakes that the lad helped bake.

In the afternoon we went to Bekonscot model village with the Home Dad organisation. It rained pretty much all the time we were there but we all enjoyed it... Five dads, six boys and two girls.

Tue 23rd October
Day 1140
3Y 1M 16D

Toddler group in the morning - the last one, as next week is half term and the week after that we go to preschool/playgroup.

The onto Whoosh with a friend.

Finally a retun home, and we all have a go at washing cars again. This is a great new game!
