This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.
Mon 26th November
Day 1174
3Y 2M 19D

Nanna came today. Nathan rushed around as usual, although he's got a slight temperature.

The lad asked "What is Lellabell?" and when told that it didn't mean anything said that it was a boy who learned to drive, but didn't drive. Very odd.

Sun 25th November
Day 1173
3Y 2M 18D
Nathan came back in the afternoon after having spent a lovely time with Nanna and Grandad. He had a good sleep last night and enjoyed the run of the house while he was there.
Sat 24th November
Day 1172
3Y 2M 17D
Nathan had a sleepover with Nanna and Grandad so we didn't see much of the lad. We also had a nice evening out at an Indian restaurant.
Fri 23rd November
Day 1171
3Y 2M 16D

Granny came today. Nathan was very lively, and had lots of fun doing things like washing up in the kitchen sink.

Yesterday the lad helped out by pretty much completely unloading the dishwasher and putting some more plates back in.

Thu 22nd November
Day 1170
3Y 2M 15D

Preschool this morning, and the lad didn't cry on separation. I think we've got it cracked.

Then on to see the doctor. Nathan weighed in at 10.8kg (23lb 12oz) which is good. The consultant says he sees a G-tube as a remote possibility only.

Wed 21st November
Day 1169
3Y 2M 14D
Hickory Dickory Dock, then a visit to dad's cousin to see her little boy. We had a great time.
Tue 20th November
Day 1168
3Y 2M 13D

Preschool again today. Nathan cried a bit on separation, but as usual enjoyed himself while he was there. He even seems to be making a friend. A little chap about the same size as himself.

Then on to Whoosh with friends. We all had loads of fun.

Poo alert: Nathan's getting better at this. He said those panic-laden words "I'm going to do a poo" about a minute before it happened today, and everything went like clockwork. The lad's in possession of yet another toy car for his trouble.
