This site is about Nathan Windisch, born 14 weeks premature, he stayed at the Neonatal unit for 15 weeks.
Mon 17th December
Day 1195
3Y 3M 9D
We had the preschool Christmas party today. Nathan looked very much at home with all the other children.

If we speak to Nathan sharply, or tell him something he doesn't want to hear, he's started to go off by himself. He either goes into his cardboard castle, or into the kitchen. It doesn't last very long, and it's all forgotten in a minute or so.

The end of 2001 will also mark the end of this online diary. Nathan's getting old enough that there's a chance that he'll be adversly affected by it.
Many thanks to all who have sent kind emails. These diary pages will continue to be available and we will be keeping the photo section of the site updated.

A quiet day at home.

Day 1192

Granny came to visit today. Not much to report.
Thu 13th December
Day 1191

Preschool this morning. Then, because the lad had a cough, we didn't go swimming but instead had Nathan's little swimming partner around to play.
Wed 12th December
Day 1190

Hickory Dickory Dock today, then onto The Thatchers pub for lunch.

Currently our little "Wednesday afternoon gang" comprises four children, and they all get on rather well, although they seem to prefer to communicate with each other through us rather than talk directly to each other.

Tue 11th December
Day 1189

Preschool today, and dad's first chance to be a helper in class. It was good fun, and very rewarding to see how well integrated Nathan is.
